Clef Kids is a special children’s daycare center in South Korea that also serves as an avenue for kids to express themselves through Music, Art, and Theatre. As opposed other daycare centers that may offer services that do not have a focused goal in stimulating young minds, Clef Kids takes kids through the process of putting together a production which they will perform at the end of each semester. Through doing so the kids not only learn skills along the way but are also empowered through teamwork and performance.
I was approached by the founder of Clef to create a logo & brand identity.

The use of a Curtain are to allude to CLEF’s 3 focuses: Music, Art, & Theatre. The curtains opening represent a stage in a theater, with this curtains being drawn. The opening of the curtains represents an opportunity for these kids to express themselves freely at Clef Kids, providing a safe space for creative exploration.
The nicest thing about the curtain system branding for Clef is its adaptability. The logo does not always need to be so blatantly present in the overall branding scheme, as illustrated in these online & offline posters (above). The inclusion of a curtain in a stage can be done in multiple variations, all while at the same time share similar design styles that allude to the overall branding umbrella I've set up for Clef.
